Hackers
Suck
Hackers Suck - both the movie and the 'people'! Recently a friend
of mine told me that someone had tried to hack him, but thanks to
a program his computer was saved from the hackers activities! So
I decided to download the program to try and prevent any unwanted
tresspassers entering my computer, which turned out to be the best
decision, involving my computer, that I've ever made. In the first
week of purchasing LockDown (the anti-hacking program), 4 people
have tried to gain access to my computer - each time using a subseven
trojan. I don't know much about hacking but I do know that there
needs to be a 'server' file in the victims computer before the hacker
can gain entry using a 'client' program. Usually a hacker will get
you to run the 'server' file by mixing it with an .exe file so you
don't expect a thing :( Anyway I thought that I might have the SubSeven
'server' file, seeing as all the hackers had tried hacking my comp
with a SubSeven Trojan. So I did a search at AltaVista to find out
if there was a way to deleting the server from my computer - however
the first page I found to was the homepage of SubSeven itself. I
read an article on the features of the trojan, and found out that
it has an IP Scanner and a function to delete the Server file from
the victims computer. So I thought "Hey, great - I can just
connect to my own computer and delete the server file". So
I downloaded the client program, ran it and did a search for my
IP. Now here's the bad part! My IP was something like 195.***.**.48
so I searched for it, and it found the server on 195.***.**.43.
Again I thought "Hey, is that my computer?" and connected
to the computer BUT anyone with knowledge of IP's will know that
wasn't my computer! Now if I was a stupid immature tosser, I could
of found out a load of passwords, d/led files from there computer,
and basically f*cked up their computer. But instead I just simply
deleted the server from their computer, and everyone lived happily
ever after!?!
You can get Lockdown from www.lockdowncorp.com, I also suggest that
you get a good anti-virus program such as Norton AntiVirus
