Wow!
I purchased your Lockdown Millennium a couple of months
ago and was very impressed with it. Then I recently received
your email with regards to your upgrade to the Pro software.
At first I ignored it thinking it was just an unnecessary
upgrade but after a week I thought I would give your trial
software a go. I'm so glad I did. What a fantastic piece
of software. You are shooting yourselves in the foot though
as now you are going to be hard pushed to better your software.
However, I have all the time available to me to watch your
try as you have given a lifetime of free upgrades.
It's not often I send emails to a company telling them how
great there software is but I felt compelled to do so with
yourselves.

Dear Sirs, I've owned LockDown, LockDown Pro and now Millennium
Pro. I must
say that I am very impressed with all of your products as
each one surpasses
the previous release. To date, three hackers have been arrested
and brought
to trial as a result of your software. An FBI agent actually
called here and
asked my wife "What in the world is that program you're
using?" My wife is a
Medical Doctor and keeps both faxes and some notes to records
on her
computer. Someone "Tried" to break into her computer
which of course was
instantly stopped by LockDown. The advice you give people
about making their
computer more secure by adding a directory called "C:"
actually worked. The
idiot went for that and by the time he figured it was a
dummy directory,
LockDown had already traced him and alerted us of the break
in. I would like to
add another computer to my network and do not trust having
it up and running
without the same software on it that I have on my other
three.

PS: I would provide more about the above story but the FBI
is very secretive
about an investigation and seal all records having anything
to do with it. The
call we got (nothing in writing) was just a courtesy to
my wife as theft of
medical records is a federal crime under the new privacy
act.

think you guys out
did yourselves this time. This appears to be the most complete
update yet.

I am not a regular home user. I am an advanced user; my
knowledge of
computers and the Internet goes far beyond the average user,
even better
than the average self-named "hacker". I wanted
to let you know that I am
really impressed by your Lockdown product. It is one of
the very few programs
(I must emphasize "VERY FEW") I wish to have on
almost all the time, and
ALWAYS when online.
I am amazed by the richest of the information your software
provided besides
the regular IP address attempt to connect info. However,
I am even more
amazed at the amount of attempts to connect, other programs
like zonealarm
has missed. Now I know for sure some people are trying to
take my data. The
teenagers with Trojan viruses and some mentally challenged
individuals are my
real concern, but your program takes good care of them,
it does a very good
job!

Hi, troops! First, I want you to know you have saved my
budding little
business, over and over and over! My wife, has used your
logs to contact the
Oregon State Police and have one little snot dragged out
of his house in
handcuffs! This situation got so bad that he was hitting
us with winnukes,
(kinda lame) and then all of a sudden is was subseven trojans
and variations of
all of those as he learned.
Your system has stopped every single attack, except one,
we lost a hard drive
because I accidentally did not turn your Lockdown on, and
he was in, it was
over, fast as that! Now, I check every time! I won't do
anything, without
Lockdown in use!

You not only removed all the worms but on Saturday night
I was on line and
the hacker tried 5 times to access my computer.... he failed.
I now have his
ISP and address thank you so much for all your help. A friend
of my daughter's

computer, his
reaction to me and lockdown was 'geesh, what the heck kinda
program did you
buy, I can't get anything to break in." I also talked

I recently downloaded the trial program on my computer at
home and found
that I had a SubSeven trojan on my system. Had it not been
for this program I
would have never known. I had someone try hacking into my
system and the
siren went off and the trace activated almost immediately.
Once I found the
name of the provider I notified them of the IP address/name
and just recently
recieved an email from the provider thanking me for informing
them of this and
also to inform me that the individual no longer has internet
access priviledges
through their company. Thanks for such a good product and
I will definitely be
recommending it to all my friends.

Just a comment from a past demo user and a recent registered
user. Since
installing your programme recently, I have averted in excess
of 20 hack
attempts over a time period of ONE weekend AND sent the
offending user's
ISP's the log files and the offending user a short letter.
The program is a
GREAT safety benefit to users such as myself using a cable
modem with a
static ip. i would NOT be without it having seen it work.

Wow is all I can say. I have had LockDown installed on my
system for 5-6 days
now in the demo mode. Today I was on a video chat site and
within a few
minutes of each other LockDown knocked off two attempted
hacks, one using
the Subseven Trojan and the other using a Netbus Trojan.
Never did I believe I
could be hacked using a dialup ISP like AOL.

FYI - LockDown has prevented attempts to connect to my computer
in the
past. It works! I was able to identify the individuals ISP.
I called this persons
ISP, e-mailed the log file to the ISP security personnel
and they terminated
dummy's service while I was still on the phone with their
security personnel
(this genius was still using the same IP #, duh!). You can
certainly understand
how gratifying that was. I'm a customer for life. Your product
is top quality. I
feel more secure using your product than my well known and
highly touted
firewall. You guys are the best!

LockDown is a tremendous program. It used to be that one
didn't have to
worry about hacks if you were not in a high bandwidth environment.
Not any
longer! I was scanned 4 times last weekend using only a
56k modem
connection.
If it hadn't been for LockDown and it's trace route feature,
I never would have
known. I use LockDown both at home and at work at the University
of New
Hampshire.

Wow, I've been "test driving" lots of security
software lately and this is by far
and away the best. During the 2nd evening of my trial period,
the siren went
off (scared me out of my socks) and caught someone trying
a netbus trojan.
Well, your product handled everything automatically. I was
protected and the
autotrace feature bagged and tagged the culprit and allowed
me to contact
his isp with an official documented log of the event. Busted!

company and about 6 months ago some little SH*T sent me

Kicked off and traced! I purchased Lockdown about two months
ago. All was
quiet for those two months. Then one night the Lockdown
siren went crazy, a
hacker trying to use a netbus trojan was kicked off my system.
Lockdown
traced the hackers info in less than a second before kicking

Thanks! You will notice from mail to you from my home machine
that it
detected two attacks on our machines! My husband was almost
pleased. I had
just put lockdown on his machine not long before when I
bought for all
machines on our network, and he was halfway hoping to see
it at work. So the
attack on my machine came first, and he was I think, secretly
disappointed
that his machine was not attacked. Imagine his surprise
to come up in the

know from my phone call of praise a few weeks ago I was
being harassed by a
unknown hacker. He would pop up windows on my screen and
tell me he was
going to "Wipe me out".. My tech support girl
told me about you and I installed
your program.
Well, a few days later my alarms went off {he didn't get
in} and I had his IP
address. I went to the bank and withdrew a 100 dollar bill,
drove around till I
found one of my providers trucks. Offered the bill for my
hackers name /
address and phone number .
GUESS WHAT???! A few minutes later I was on the phone with
my hacker
telling him I was going to "Wipe him out...".
Never heard from him again, and with your program, I hope
I do..

I Download LockDown and in two days it was doing it's job.
LockDown has
been running now for 4 weeks and it's stopped over 25 Hacker's.
One of them
was from the same ISP as me. Well he's not on the net any
more! I have got
over 12 Hacker's booted of the net. This program is the

I used to get people hacking me all the time using different
trojans. I had to
reinstall my Windows 5 times because of hackers. But now
thanks to LockDown
I haven't had anymore problems! I have reported 3 people
who tried to hack
me from my own isp and my isp removed their accounts from
the server
immediately. I recommend lockdown more than any other program!
I am sure
now I will never be hacked again, and to me that's the best
thing that I could

someone that bold. I know it
works while on a chat applet, because I was in yahoo chess.

product, so I looked into it. I downloaded the 10 day trial
and ran the program.
I was still able to play online games with it running in
the background on my
p2-300 w/128megs without any noticeable effect. but get
this... 45 minutes

false notion of what
this product should do. The trojan scanner is top notch
and its share
monitoring capabilities are unique among other security
software. Its generic
detection features are also uncommonly found. You don't
NEED a firewall if you
don't have a trojan installed in the first place.

and the
person accessing sensitive files was caught in no time.

Well, just when I thought Lockdown couldn't get any better....
I have been running Lockdown for what must be over a year
now. When I
tested it , I compared to other personal firewall products
(ZoneAlarm and
BlackIce).
I have got to tell you there isn't much software that I
get excited about but
Lockdown sure does it for me. Especially with the new Millennium
release, I
love the fact I can now get e-mails from a remote location
when someone
does a port scan or attempts to get into my system via a
Trojan horse.
Lockdown has never let me down, other firewalls have. This
product is great,
the technical support is great.
Keep up the good work!!! SubSeven doesn't stand a chance...
